Sport Development
As the sport of FootGolf continues to grow the need for Sport Development is becoming a key focus in keeping our athletes mentally and physically strong. As we discover current players and new partners who have athletic training as either coaches, physical therapists, trainers or who have played other sports professionally we will tap into their knowledge to build our development programs. Since the goal of the Federation for International FootGolf is to become a full member of the Sports Accord therein paving our path to someday being an Olympic sport, we want to prepare our players to compete at a high level. Some of the ways that we will prepare our players at all levels is through sport development programs.

Community Clinics and Training Camps
Encouraging young athletes to participate and learn FootGolf skills with activities that enhance balance, coordination, cardiovascular fitness and focus.
Focus on Player Development
This includes both technical and non-technical skills, such as mental resilience and concentration, which are crucial for success on the course.
Physical Training
A well-structured strength and conditioning program can positively impact footgolfers performance, increasing kicking distance and reducing injury risk.

These programs will emphasize a holistic approach, balancing talent development with the athlete's well-being and long-term success.
Youth FootGolf
The American FootGolf Federation is in the beginning stages of developing Youth programs and initiatives that introduce the game to youth through schools, park and recreation programs and organizations that service at-risk kids in our communities, The focus will be on giving kids a physical and mental outlet, allowing children to focus on the activity and skill development, and foster character and life skills. These programs aim to make FootGolf accessible, fun, and inclusive, while also building our future of the sport.
